We purchased this item back in Feb.09 Delivery was great (CEVA) my delivery from (CEVA) arrived in a timely fashion with a great delivery man. His name was Owen .If you live in the Wash DC metro area or Baltimore surrounding area and you order from Amazon I suggest you request him for your delivery. My Tv arrived in a timely fashion but, with some infraction, but Owen told me how to take care of the issues and everything he said was true. Kudos Amazon for the great service and great delivery with CEVA. Our TV is GREAT picture quality in out of this world.We have matched it with a surround sound so I could not ask for more. Better watch out SONY (if you really are top of the line) because SHARP AQUOS is coming for you

Customer Review: Great TV at a great price
We purchased this television a few months ago for our bedroom and have really liked it. Very clean and sharp image quality. We like the sound quality as well. We have this television connected to a DVD player and our cable box and haven’t had any issues. When we purchase our next television we’ll buy from LG. The only complaint I have is we purchased it at a best buy and it is cheaper here at Amazon.

We bought this unit bec we saw it in the store and the picture was outstandingly beautiful. What we could not have known was that there would be an extremely annoying mismatch of picture and audio in the HD mode using our Comcast Motorola HD cable box. After realizing this problem, we Googled it and found multiple, similar complaints. Then we used the Contact Us feature in the LG website, and a tech offered to send us a firmware update. We declined bec we knew from other complaints found in Google that the LG “fix” — a firmware update they offered — did not help. Plus, it would take a few weeks to arrive. That would put us beyond the return deadline. So we returned the unit and paid $100 more for a 26″ Sony Bravia 5000 which we love and does not seem to have this problem.  Read more... this is a great tv, i was surprised at the weight of these tv’s. easy to move to keep clean around your set, unlike the old set that weighed a ton and recieved less dusting because of it, i also found that i can not use cable remote to control volume or turn off the set, so far now i use 2 remotes. if any one has the solution to this problem please let us know

This is a great little TV. Only problem is you can not get your Dish remote control to control the sound or turn it off and on!! I also have a 37″, and the same thing is happening, Dish remote control will not control it. I have tried all numbers that the Sylvania book gives you and it just doesn’t work. Look Amazon is good for some things but please dont buy a T.V. from them. You can get the same LCD for way less at Wal-Mart.
