Customer Review: Excellent TV for the cost I picked this TV up recently from Dell with a coupon. Picture quality is very good on any input. It handles regular cable reasonably well for a big tv. It’s watchable compared to some other big LCD’s out there I’ve tried. Any input (I’ve done regular DVD, Windows Media Center, Blu-Ray at various resolutions including 480P, 720P and 1080P) looks excellent. The dynamic screen stretch actually works quite well to take whatever you’re playing and scale it correctly to fill as much of the screen as possible. Very satisfied with price & quality. It’s also lightweight and sleek. Able to set up right out of the box and the picture is extremely clear with vivid colors. Able to pick up digital channels not previously available on non-digital tube set. DVD player is at top right hand corner, not on the side as I’ve seen with other TV/DVD combos. Good remote control with a couple of functions I haven’t seen before such as “pause” which immediately freezes any program – when you press pause again, it will start the program wherever it currently is at that moment so you will lose the length of time you “paused.” Remote ergonomically easy to hold but because it is long, a little difficult to use one hand to reach all buttons. Also, there’s no function for programming favorite channels but there is a button to return to previously watched channel. Must purchase a VGA cable and audio cable before hooking up PC to use this as a computer monitor. Hook up is easy and picture from PC clear. Have tried two different audio cables but still unable to get audio to work. I like this flatscreen a lot and think that the quality is good.
