Customer Review: great T.V.
This is out third Sony XBR T.V. We believe it to be the best . Our first one is @ 10 years old and never gave any problems.
If you are looking for quality and a good picture this is the T.V. that you need or any other size in the XBR line. This is a XBR 6 The best is the XBR 8.for picture quality…..but also it is a lot more expensive.
So for an affordable T.V. this is the one to get………….
Customer Review: Overall a Good Experience and a Great TV!!
I didn’t shop around too much for a TV, but like alot of people, did alot of research online. A while back, an Aquos display at the mall caught my eye, but that was set up with a DVD to show off the display. The Aquos didn’t look as good to me at the other stores. At regular stores like Costco, Sam’s club, and Best Buy, etc… the Sonys always looked best to me, especially the XBRs which not everyone carried. I narrowed it down to compare the new Samsung LEDs with the Sony XBRs. I saw a new 40″ Samsung B6000 next to a Sony 40″ XBR6 at Best Buy and the Samsung picture looked only slightly better, but not $600+ better. The Sony was selling for $1,444, and the just-out Samsung for like $2100. I decided on the Sony, and Amazon Warehouse Deals had an open box 46″ for about the price of a 40″. The listing said there were slight cosmetic blemishes on the case. I was a bit apprehensive, but since amazon had the 30-day return, I went for it. The shipping company was Pilot, and my delivery guy was top-notch. He called one hour before to confirm the address, and plugged the unit in to show it worked. He even called an hour after to check if everything was ok and to remind me to keep the box for 30 days in case of problems. I read some people complain of the delivery guys not mounting on the wall, but Pilot mentioned that when they called. Their guys do not mount the TV on the wall for liability reasons, so you have to make arrangements for that yourself. I inspected the TV and could not find any of the cosmetic blemishes mentioned on Amazon WD. So far the TV works great and looks awesome. Sometimes the reds look a bit too red, but I haven’t played with the colors too much yet. That’s it as far as the imperfections for me. I haven’t hooked up a DVD/Blu-ray player yet, but every HD channel looks lifelike, and the non-HD (and HD) channels look better than my dad’s Panny Vieria plasma. I’m sure with a picture this good the Blu-rays will be breathtaking! The sound is sufficient for a bedroom, though in larger spaces I could see wanting a theatre system to fill the space. Overall I’m very happy with the TV and this one should suffice for a few years! 5 stars for the TV and Amazon Warehouse Deals!

What do you remember about the film version of “The Da Vinci Code,” exactly? I remember two things. One is Jean Reno's surprising show of feeling when his character, the weaselly French police inspector, learned he had been betrayed.

Customer Review: Better than expected
I was unsure about ordering such an important part of my life online but my husband insisted that we do it. We went to a bunch of stores and picked out the type we wanted and then came to Amazon to try and find it. We got it for at least $400 less than any store around and the shipping was free. When we checked out the shipping dates were going to fall exactly when he and I were going to be out of state visiting family. We contacted the seller(late at night) and in less than 14 hours we got a personal response letting us know that they would hold on to the TV until we were back in town. It came the morning after we got home. Very great customer service there. We were both very impressed with the TV and delivery and the entire process. Now we have to switch out our regular cable box for an HD one and we are good to go.
Customer Review: Very Happy
A very enjoyable buying experience. No phone calls froma salesman trying to change the price or sell me warranty, extra, etc. Simple and straight forward.

Customer Review: Review of features, comparisons, pros/cons and gaming mode
I recently owned a Westinghouse 37″ HDTV that I purchased 3 years ago and finally decided it was time to upgrade. I looked at all major brands such as Sony, Pioneer, LG, Panasonic and Toshiba. Of all the aforementioned brands, I found Toshiba offered the best features at a sub $1500 price point (10-bit panel, 120 hz etc)and went with it. Unfortunately the Toshiba suffered from severe flashlighting (a term that is used to describe the CCFL light showing from the corners of the television which is usually pronounced during night time viewing) and clouding. Also, the matte screen offered on the Toshiba meant the contrast would not be as good as an ultra clear panel offered by Samsung. I ended up returning the Toshiba for a refund.
